One of the things that bothered American viewers in "almost pilot" The Finder Series (inserted into an episode of Bones) was the female protagonist, a strong Irish accent, which owns a bar. The producers heard the public was excluded and the character of the series, thus dismissing the actress Saffron Burrows. A new character is being created, will be an FBI agent who will work alongside the protagonist played by Geoff Stults.
It need not be great connoisseur of the English language to bother with the accent of the character, people from other countries complained that their sound and how it was not any fault to the series. But to have an agent to work alongside former Marine reminds us of Bones and the possibility of having more drama in which a co-workers live in tension while solving cases (Castle, hello?).
Speaking of which, the show's producers said the possibility of The Finder occupy space in the Fox programming dedicated to Bones at the beginning of the season, due to the pregnancy of actress Emily Deschanel, who would put the series on hold. As the pregnancy was incorporated into the series the break will come later, in January, when Bones will make a hiatus of three months, possibly returning in April to end the seventh season. So with that, The Finder opens in January, with new character and even the possibility of bringing some characters in the episodes of Bones, since they do not have to stop too.
It will be interesting to see this interaction between the series, continuing what was in season, when The Finder has been presented to the public. It would also be great to kill the longing of Bones as the series goes on maternity leave.
